On April 24-29, Green Lane NGO hosted a group of lecturers and students from University of Anhalt University of Applied Sciences, Germany for conducting research practice. The guests visited the Green Lane office, as well as Green Training Center, had meetings with the Yerevan State University lecturers and the Director of the ICARE Foundation (Agribusiness Training Center (ATC)), visited the Jrvezh Reserve Complex and got acquainted with the sightseengs of Armenia. An excursion was organized for the guests with the aim of presentation of urban and regional agricultural landscapes of Yerevan.

The Green Lane participated in the workshop “New EU Rules on Organic Seeds”
Green Lane representative, Project Coordinator Lusine Mkrtchyan, along with Nikolay Manucharyan, YES Armenia Program Organic Agriculture Expert and Gayane Martirosyan, Representative of the Seed Science Center of the Ministry of Agriculture participated in the international Workshop on New EU Rules on Organic Seeds” in Wallkersdorf, Austria.

During the visit, a meeting was held with the Representatives of ReinSaat (one of Austria’s largest organic seed producers), Arche Noah (seed bank staff) and BioAustria (one of Europe’s largest organic farmers associations) organizations.

The UN Women Fund for Gender Equality
2018 Global Grantee Workshop (New York, 19-23 March, 2018) is closed today.
The grantee participants were provided with rich knowledge of Scaling Up and Social Innovation Approaches for Achieving Gender Equality and Women’s Empowerment.
