Training Announcement


Green Lane NGO is committed to improve agricultural, environmental and socio-economic situation through educational, consultancy, and investment projects.

Green Lane invites applications for the trainer to conduct 3-day ToT training on the topic of small farm and non-formal group management and teamwork in a classroom setting. The training is conducted within the framework of the “Empowerment of Rural Women Groups through Capacity Development” project.

The incumbent should develop and deliver 3-day Training of Trainers (ToT) to a group of 15 women from the 15 rural women groups involved in the project. The purpose of the training is building the capacity of rural women in efficient management of small farms and resources as well as teamwork.

Major Duties & Responsibilities

  • Develop the curriculum of 3 days and training materials;
  • Conduct training and utilize a variety of teaching techniques including working in teams; overcoming objections, etc.;
  • Develops and administers pre- and post-training evaluations;
  • Prepare and submit training report.

Qualifications 

  • University degree in a relevant field. Must have a knowledge of adult learning principles and the ability to implement these principles into a training curriculum
  • Relevant experience preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong presentation skills;
  • Able to build rapport and listen attentively to the needs of the trainees
  • Proficient knowledge in MS Office programs: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
